March 2010 LYM conference

Hey Guys,
I pray that all is going well with you at this time. It has been a blessing to know that our work each day is bringing change to the lives of individuals. What an exciting time it is for us to be alive.
We wanted to ask you guys to please keep us in your prayers. We have been feeling a lot of resistance leading up to our Legacy Youth Conference. This year we will be having Dean Sherman with us to speak to the young people on the topic of relationships. We have over a 135 young people signed up so far for the conference from about 25 different churches. We know God is using Legacy to disciple this generation and the enemy is not happy about that, so we would really appreciate your prayers in this hour.
This week our church building was broken into, they stole our Legacy sound equipment as well as other sound equipment for our church. This was a big hit for us but we know it is ultimately only distraction from the enemy. This weekend we will have to rent a sound system but are still believing God that we will be able to get the system back. The total loss is valued at over $5000usd. (The youth had done many fundraisers and offerings to purchase this equipment.) Please pray with us that we will be able to reclaim the equipment.
Above all please pray for all the young people attending this weekend. Pray that God would touch their hearts in a significant way this weekend and that He would become a personal God, king and friend to them. May God bless you all for the hours of prayer you’ve sown into their lives.
Under His Authority,
Jason & Sara Andrews.

Dance Studio Progress

The new dance studio is really starting to take shape! Perhaps another month or so and we'll be in our new facility! Thank you for all of your prayers... this building project has been a miracle from the Lord and we're grateful. Please continue to pray with us for full provision on building the new YWAM base in Belmopan.

Meet the New DTS!

Meet the NEW DTS students from the January 2010 school! We are SO excited about what God is doing in this school. We are all learning so much about God together and it's a blessings and a priviledge to be a part of this awesome group. Please be praying for them, and for us, as we seek God's face together.

LegacyConnect

Have you seen it?! Legacy has started a Youth Talk show program on Plus TV, every Saturday from 12:00-1:00. This is a vibrant, youth talk show addressing current issues that that generation is facing. Tune in (in you can) and PRAY if you can't! ;) Together let's stand beside the youth and see them fulfill their God given destiny!

Influence or being Influenced?

Alright, it's coming up! The next Legacy Youth Conference will be happening November 20th - 22nd. Would you PLEASE being praying with us for this time? It will be all age groups, so we're expecting a full house (literally!) Some of our close friends are coming from the States to visit during this time and we're just really excited for what God wants to do. Looking foward to reporting back as we touch this generation with God's truth!

Home School in Belize

Hi friends!
We are praying and planning for next years school curriculum and have taken the big step of ordering the books (Sonlight and Abeka). There is a certain 3rd grader in the house who “just can’t wait to get the books”!
In assessing our finances for the upcoming school year we began to feel a bit overwhelmed. The bill for this year totals about $800. It came to our mind to “just ask” if anyone would be interested in joining us with our kids educational costs.

* Perhaps 8 people would give $100 every July for the kids school.
* Someone could “sponsor a child” and cover the cost of their education for a year.
* Maybe you can give a little one time gift to help, that’s GREAT!
We know God is a creative God and His heart is to see our children enjoy learning. It will be exciting to see how He will work in this great adventure! Thank you for your friendship and support!

With love,
Jason, Sara, Keilah, Judah & Elijah

Mi Vida Loca!

So... here at YWAM Belize we live quite the "jungle life" sometimes. Recently, they found another large snake on the base and our Taiwanese friend decided to cook it for us! Tell me, WHO GETS TO EXPERIENCE THESE THINGS?! Life with Jesus is sure an adventure! What's not to love about it?
