Holy Saturday

Saturday morning is the annual Cross Country Bike Race. Everyone gets dressed up in their new clothes and heads out to the high way at 6:30 in the morning to see the bikers race by! It's truly a thrilling event, one that we enjoy "participating" in each Holy Saturday!

The March Legacy Conference

Have you ever been in an earthquake? Incredible feeling, huh? That is what worship felt like on Saturday night at the Legacy conference. Standing in the midst of 85 young Belizeans. Worshiping at the top of their voice and dancing shamelessly, the whole building was shaking! (I’m glad we braced up the flooring)! You know the song:

“Behold he comes riding on the clouds, shining like the sun at the trumpet call lift your voice in the year of Jubilee out of Zion’s hill salvation comes”.

The passion arising from that room brought tears to my eyes. Then came the victory cry! That shout, the cries, the dancing, the clapping, the joy, the energy of these youth! It was contagious, and dangerous! I’m sure the enemy felt it too! It didn’t stop there, after an hour of rejoicing they moved into a time of worship, then an action packed teaching session from a vibrant local pastor then more worship and ministry! We know that something took place in the spiritual realm this weekend, as well as in the individual lives of the youth in attendance. (How can it NOT with such willing hearts?!) Four youth gave their lives to the Lord this weekend, a handful rededicated their lives to Him, countless others repented for living for themselves. Of course we’re dead tired, hours upon hours of worship, intercession, prayer, work, discipleship, volley ball!... It’s all worth it. Every prayer, every dollar, every tear, every drop of sweat, every burned building and broken windshield… it will ALWAYS be worth it! Thank you too for praying with us, it’s made a difference in our life, in their lives, in the lives and destiny of this nation. May God multiply back to you that which you have sown one hundred fold. We are grateful for your faithfulness.

Blessings and love from Belize,

Jason & Sara
