Hello again!
We want to let you know about the DTS that started here on July 1st. We have 6 students from 3 countries (pictured above). They are in the 3rd week of lecture phase and are each having an amazing time with God. Last week's theme was "Nature and Character of God" with our friend Jason Hague speaking. It was an incredible week for everyone, staff included.
The students also were asked to pray and write down a region they feel God would want them to go to for outreach. All of them wrote South America! In the next few weeks we will pray together as a school as get specific direction on which nations we should go to on outreach.
Please pray for the students and staff of this DTS, expecially Omar and Alyssa Myrie who are leading this school. As things are progressing with the YWAM Belmopan property we felt the need to pass on the DTS to the Myires in order to give more attention to the new ministry in Belmopan. In prayer, we're considering the possiblitity of pioneering a DTS amongst the University students as well, which will take place in the summer due to University students demanding schedule. Omar and Alyssa have worked with us in DTS for a number of years and we feel confident in their leadership ability. We continue to provide oversite for the school but have released the daily activities and leadership to the Myries. God has each of these students here for this season and will be faithful to complete the work He's started in them.
